Does electricity flow through a grounding sheet?
No. No mains power. No energy consumption.
A grounding sheet is not connected to the mains and uses no energy.
It is not an electrical appliance. The sheet contains conductive material and is connected to the earth contact by a simple cable.

Grounding is new to me. Which product should I start with?
Most people start with a grounding sheet: you use it for many hours every night without changing anything about your routine. For your workspace there is also the grounding mat. Before plugging in for the first time, a quick check with the socket tester is worthwhile.
Does electricity flow as soon as I plug Wurzler™ products into the socket?
When you think of a socket, electricity, danger or extra costs quickly come to mind. That's why we explain it in detail.
For the grounding function, the products are connected to the socket's earth contact using the cord and plug supplied. The pins that would normally carry current are made of plastic and do not conduct. Wurzler™ products use no electricity and cause no additional costs. The plug simply creates a connection between the product and the earth.
Can I put a normal fitted sheet over the Wurzler™ grounding sheet?
Yes, that works as long as it's a thin cotton sheet without synthetic fibres. Synthetic material can insulate and reduce conductivity.
Our recommendation: the best contact comes when your skin is in direct contact with the Wurzler™ grounding sheet. So lay the grounding sheet directly on the mattress or on your existing fitted sheet.
Is the Wurzler™ Mat also suitable for bed?
The Wurzler™ mat is designed as a desk pad for your mouse and keyboard or as a foot mat under your desk. We don't recommend using the mat in bed, as it is not breathable. For grounded sleep, we recommend a Wurzler™ grounding sheet.
