Grounding mat for your desk, sofa and home office
The Wurzler™ Grounding Mat (85 × 40 cm) is a conductive mat with a PU surface containing graphene and a non-slip rubber underside. At your desk, your keyboard and mouse sit comfortably on it while your forearms touch the mat. Alternatively, use it under your desk for your feet, on the sofa or next to the bed. It connects to the earth contact of a correctly earthed socket using the cord supplied – with no power consumption.

Our tip for your feet: ideally, place your bare feet on the mat. If you wear socks at the office or in winter, our socks with silver threads are a good choice, as ordinary socks usually don't conduct. For more freedom of movement at your desk, try the coiled cord.
Because it fits easily into your working day: the mat sits on your desk under your mouse and keyboard or under your feet, is plugged in once and needs no power and no app.

We work with carefully selected partners who meet our quality standards. As soon as producing more of our products in Austria or Germany becomes realistically possible, we will look into this option again.

Grounded working in 3 simple steps:
Step 1
Connect the supplied cord to the press stud on the mat.
Step 2
Connect the other end of the cord to the supplied grounding plug and insert it into a correctly earthed socket. The product does not use any electricity; it only creates a connection to the earth contact.
Step 3
Work as usual. For the best conductive contact, touch the mat with your hands and/or feet.
Common question
Does electricity flow through a grounding sheet?
No. No mains power. No energy consumption.
A grounding sheet is not connected to the mains and uses no energy.
It is not an electrical appliance. The sheet contains conductive material and is connected to the earth contact by a simple cable.

Why “no mains power” and not simply “no electricity”?
Because an earth connection is by definition a conductive connection. We’d rather be technically correct than convenient.
Important
Test your socket in three steps.
Only use a grounding sheet or grounding mat with a socket that has a working earth contact. You can check this in a minute with a socket tester, for example the Wurzler™ socket tester (€14,90).

Step 1
Look at the socket.
Can you see two metal clips at the edge of the opening? Then it is an earthed (Schuko) socket. Without these clips the socket is not suitable.

Step 2
Plug in the tester.
The lights on the socket tester show whether live, neutral and earth are connected correctly. With the Wurzler™ socket tester: if all three LEDs light up, the socket is fine. With a different tester: see its instructions.

Does the tester show a fault, or are you unsure? Then don’t use this socket and have it checked by a qualified electrician.

Does electricity flow through the product?

Is connecting via the socket safe?
The product is connected to the earth contact, not to the live contacts. Only use the product with a correctly earthed socket. If in doubt, have the socket checked.
Does my skin have to touch the product?
For the best conductive contact, direct skin contact is recommended. Thin clothing can reduce the contact.
