Premium, Standard or Bamboo: what's the difference?
Many people wonder whether a higher silver content in the sheet also means stronger grounding.
The clear answer: No, all our sheets ground equally well.
The reason is simple: above a certain amount of conductive material, such as silver thread, the electrical contact between the body and the earth is fully established.
Whether 6 %, 7 % or 11 % silver: the grounding function works in the same way for all variants.
The difference lies mainly in comfort and lifespan:
A higher silver content can help the fabric stay more robust and remain conductive for longer, and make the connection feel a little more even, especially after frequent washing or intensive use.

What is a grounding sheet?
A grounding sheet is a bed sheet with woven-in, conductive silver threads. Using the cord provided, it is connected to the earth contact of a properly earthed socket. This creates a conductive contact with the earth's natural potential while you lie on it – similar to walking barefoot on grass.
How do I connect a grounding sheet?
Lay the sheet on the mattress or fit the fitted sheet over it, attach the cord to the press stud and plug the grounding plug into a properly earthed socket. The plug only uses the earth contact – no current flows. Use a socket tester to check beforehand that your socket is properly earthed.
Sheet or fitted sheet – which suits you better?
The grounding fitted sheet sits firmly over the mattress (for depths up to 33 cm) and doesn't slip. The grounding sheet is simply laid on top and fits different mattresses flexibly, even over an existing sheet.
What is the difference between Premium, Standard and Bamboo Balance?
All Wurzler™ sheets are conductive. They differ in material and feel: Premium is made of 89 % organic cotton and 11 % silver threads, Standard of 94 % cotton and 6 % silver threads, and Bamboo Balance of 51 % bamboo fibre, 42 % cotton and 7 % silver – it is especially soft.
Does my skin have to touch the grounding sheet?
Direct skin contact is best for conductive contact, for example on your legs, arms or feet. Thin clothing can reduce the contact.
How do I wash a grounding sheet?
Grounding sheets are machine washable at up to 40 °C and can be tumble dried at up to 50 °C. Don't use fabric softener, as it coats the silver threads. Ideally, use a special detergent for silver yarns.
